　　The DIN 1319 standard defines the measuring range as the range of values for a parameter within which the error of a measuring device does not exceed a defined limit. The measuring range of a measuring device is not always identical with its range of indication. It is possible that the display can also show values which lie outside the limits of the measuring range. In such cases, the limits of the measuring range must be clearly marked in accordance with the provisions of the EN 60051 standard.
